The Asphalt Institute is the international trade association of petroleum asphalt producers, manufacturers and affiliated businesses. Its mission is to promote the use, benefits and quality performance of petroleum asphalt, through engineering, research, marketing and educational activities, and through the resolution of issues affecting the industry.

National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA)www.hotmix.org
The National Asphalt Pavement Association is the only trade association that exclusively represents the interests of the Hot Mix Asphalt producer and paving contractor on the national level with Congress, government agencies, and other national trade and business organizations. NAPA supports an active research program designed to answer questions about environmental issues and to improve the quality of HMA pavements and paving techniques used in the construction of roads, streets, highways, parking lots, airports, and environmental and recreational facilities. The Association provides technical, educational, and marketing materials and information to its members, and supplies technical information to users and specifiers of paving materials. The Association, which counts more than 1,100 companies as its members, was founded in 1955.

Northeast Center of Excellence for Pavement Technology (NECEPT)www.superpave.psu.edu
NECEPT is the Northeast Regional Superpave Center. It is located at the Pennsylvania Transportation Institute (PTI) at the Pennsylvania State University. NECEPT's primary mission is to facilitate implementation and validation of the results of the Strategic Highway Research Program (SHRP) by promoting partnering between governmental agencies, industry (including materials, suppliers, contractors and consultants) and universities throughout the Northeast. The Center is funded primarily by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). Added support is received from industry and the Pennsylvania Asphalt Paving Association (PAPA).

Pennsylvania Asphalt Pavement Association (PAPA)www.pahotmix.org
PAPA is an organization uniting individuals, partnerships, firms and corporations having common interests related to the hot mix industry. Founded in 1932, PAPA is the oldest and first such organization in the U.S. PAPA represents over 80% of the asphalt businesses and at least 90% of the plants in Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania Department of Transportaion (PennDOT)www.dot.state.pa.us
Through the active involvement of customers, employees and partners, PennDOT provides services and a safe intermodal transportation system that attracts businesses and residents and stimulates Pennsylvania’s economy. Additionally, PennDOT publishes Publication 408, which contains current construction specifications for PennDOT projects.

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Centre County (HFHGCC)www.habitatgcc.org
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Centre County (HFHGCC) works to build simple, decent, affordable houses for qualified families in need of adequate shelter. Today HFHGCC concentrates its efforts in Centre and Clinton Counties. HFHGCC is one of 1700 independent affiliates of Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI).

The Trevor “Birdie” Davis Water Safety Foundation was founded in June 2006, as a result of his accidental drowning, when he was 26 months old. The mission of the foundation is to save innocent lives through education and awareness of water hazards for both children and adults.  The Trevor “Birdie” Davis Water Safety Foundation is actively working with Dr. Harvey Barnett, Founder of Infant Swimming Resource, to help him achieve his goal of preventing childhood drowning through specialized survival training.
